Social Housing Adare

We produced a masterplan for this significant site at the edge of Adare, a designated heritage town. The proposal sought to define the outward edge of town and preserve what remained of the original wooded Deerpark as open amenity space. Houses were arranged in a series of courtyards, open to the woodlands. The project subsequently proceeded on a narrow strip of land to the west of the site where very particular dwelling types were evolved to deal with the extreme site conditions.
